Eavesdropper: Rob Churm

Exhaustion Hook - Rob Churm
Eavesdropper is a new strand of CCA programming, supported by Outset Scotland. It is a series of four events across twelve months in which we showcase key Scottish artists, delving deeper into a particular area of their practice. The format of the events and the nature of the piece presented will be determined by the artist, but each should be a unique opportunity to gain an insight into an artist’s approach to making work.
For the third Eavesdropper event, Glasgow artist Rob Churm will talk about his ongoing cominc project, Exhaustion Hook. He will perform a reading from the Acknowledgements page of this work in progress comic, attempting to untangle the influences that have gone into the work and discussing ways to organise the flow of imagery. The performance will be followed by a Q&A with CCA Director Francis Mckee on comic books and weird things.
With thanks to Outset Scotland for their support.
