Eilon Morris Finding Music in Found Objects
Sat 29 October 2016

Eilon Morris
This workshop will explore ways of generating music and making instruments from the objects we find around us. Participants will explore different ways of making sounds as well as improvising and generating sound compositions as part of an ensemble using found-object percussion. Over this three-hour workshop, we will make our own basic instruments from objects collected from home or elsewhere - exploring simple instrument-making skills and creative ways of hitting, thumping, dragging, tapping, whacking, scratching and crumbling.
Please bring at least one or two object with you, and a willingness to play and possibly get dirty. Some materials will be supplied for making, hitting and decorating.
