Québécois filmmaker Chloé Robichaud’s wry second feature follows three women involved in complex negotiations between local politicians and companies seeking to exploit the natural resources on the fictional island of Besco. President Danielle Richard (Macha Grenon), American facilitator Emily (Emily VanCamp) and idealistic federal deputy Felixe (Nathalie Doummar) fight vested interests, fraying tempers, bruising male chauvinism and a powerful sense of guilt over their neglected private lives in an insightful ensemble drama.
