GFF: How to Win Enemies

Gabriel Lichtmann’s entertaining mystery movie is anchored by a charismatic central performance from Martin Slipak as honest, trustworthy legal eagle Lucas, who loves thrillers so much even his dog is called Sherlock. Days before his wild older brother’s wedding, Lucas meets a seductive woman who seems too good to be true, then wakes to find he’s been relieved of his life savings. It’s the first step in a chain of events that sees Lucas turn detective, investigating exactly who to trust and who he can set free by simply telling the truth. A confidently-handled charmer of a film.
