GFF: The Parallax View presented by Rich Pickings

Tue 23 February 2016

The Parallax View

Newspaper reporter Joe Frady (Warren Beatty) begins investigating the assassination of a presidential candidate from several years ago, and is drawn into a dangerous world of conspiracy and cover-up. Going undercover and assuming a new identity, he finds himself at the centre of a new and terrifying plot. The screening of this 70s paranoia classic will be followed by a discussion with Karen Douglas, Professor of Social Psychology at the University of Kent. Karen studies the psychology of conspiracy theories and the social consequences of conspiracism.

This event is produced in partnership with Rich Pickings, with support from a Wellcome Trust People Award.
