GFF19 Pause (Pafsi)

Elpida is mad as hell and she’s not going to take it anymore. Trapped in a loveless marriage to a boorish husband, she endures an unrelentingly drab life, and the menopause is about to add to her woes. Her only refuge is to escape into fantasy; lusting over the shirtless painter she watches or exacting a delicious revenge on the husband who has made her life a misery. Now, fantasy and reality are starting to blur. Tiny stresses build towards an explosive change in a film that mixes social realism and gothic horror. An intense Stela Fyrogeni is utterly compelling in the central role.
