A research scientist accidentally turns himself into a walking, talking hunk of slime, which is part plant, part swamp and part human. The human side still has feelings for his lady love and protects her from his arch-nemesis, and fellow scientist. DC Comics meets 1980s horror as Swamp Thing made its big screen debut.
