Glasgow Film Festival NFTS Scotland Presents: The Art of the Art Department

Now in its 4th season, the hugely successful international TV series Outlander currently employs more than 20 people in its art and set decoration departments alone. Supervising Art Director Nicki McCallum and members of her team will join us to discuss the different skills and personnel involved in working in such a large department, and how they all come together to produce the results on screen. Whether you’re considering a career in the industry or have simply wondered what a scenic painter or a draftsperson does, this talk will provide a fantastic insight to the art of the art department.
