Glasgow Film Festival Spookies

Originally shot under the different name of Twisted Souls, first time film makers and horror fanatics, Brendan Faulkner and Thomas Doran set out to make an ambitious, unique horror film loaded with practical effects. However due to disagreements with the financier of the film, the pair quit and Troma editor Eugenie Joseph stepped in to finish the film. Thanks to its troubled production, Spookies is a Frankenstein’s monster of a film in that it is a completely bewildering mish mash of ideas that are ill fitting yet hilarious. An absolute must see with an audience!
