Glasgow Film Festival

Sun 4 March 2018

Sveta is a tough and assured woman who struggles to make ends meet working at the local factory whilst juggling two young children and her lazy husband. When an unfortunate series of events leads to her job being put in jeopardy, she devises a meticulous plan to keep her family afloat, forcing her to question her own morals. Primarily told in Russian sign language, a remarkable first performance from Laura Koroleva leads this slow-burn drama, which forces the viewer to consider the question; how far would you go to save your family?

Also screening at Glasgow Film Theatre, Sat 3 Mar, 2pm
