Join us at the CCA, home of this year's Glasgow International 2020 Hub. Collect your festival guides and maps and let our team help you plan your day or weeks itinerary with advice on what to see and where to go.

Glasgow International is Scotland’s largest festival for contemporary art, taking place over three weeks every two years across the city of Glasgow and free to all.
Now in its 9th edition, this year there are over 60 exhibitions in all corners of the city in well-loved city venues to artist studios and new found spaces.

The festival draws on the city’s strengths as a vibrant and distinctive centre of artistic production and display. The range of both international and local artists exhibiting and performing create an amazing art experience over the 18 days of the festival. Combining the characteristics of a visual arts biennial with an open submission model for artists and curators based in the city, GI is a truly unique event in the European cultural calendar.

The theme for 2020 is Attention. As much a method or approach as a theme, Attention asks us to consider how, where and in whom our attention is placed at a time of seemingly constant distraction through, for instance, social media and 24 hour news feeds. What are the opportunities for close looking both in the making and viewing of art and how we attend to others whom we care for, as well as ourselves?
