Glasgow Zine Fest International Art Exchange
Sat 18 April 2020
Glasgow Zine Festival
This workshop marks the beginning of a collaboration between GZL and PO Box Collective (Chicago).
Inspired by the R.A.D.I.C.A.L Print Shop, and the Chicago Neighborhood Portrait Project by William Estrada, this workshop explores who represents our neighborhoods. We will learn how to use mono printing and collage techniques to create prints and postcards about what’s meaningful to you. All participants and GZF attendees can barter their work for prints from the PO Box Collective for a chance to have their work exhibited in Chicago.
Lauren La Rose is an award-winning American multidisciplinary artist, and educator who advocates for equitable access to the arts and has worked with veterans, young people, and formerly incarcerated women and their families.
BSL is available for workshops upon request - please contact firstname.lastname@example.org before 1 April 2020.
