GLITCH Film Festival Cha và Con và (Big Father, Small Father & Other Stories)

It is the late nineties and an atmospheric portrait emerges of life on the banks of the Saigon River, Vietnam. Vu, a photography student, moves into a stilted house above the water and develops a crush on Thang who works as barman where the beautiful ballerina Van dances at night. Cha và Con và creates a mostly gentle and often beautiful evocation of gender roles, homosexuality and doing what you have to do to get by in Vietnam.
