On a night out in a gay-friendly neighbourhood, four young black dykes underwent a homophobic attack. They fought back but were vilified for this in the media as a ‘Gang of Killer Lesbians’ and subsequently imprisoned. This award winning documentary shot over a period of several years follows the struggle of them, their families and community supporters for justice.
