SHORT MATTERS! is the European Film Academy’s short film tour, bringing together fifteen award winners at top European festivals in 2015. Migration and issues of translation are explored in this programme. A Syrian boy is given a heavy responsibility as translator in a remote Turkish border town, whilst a death in an English suburb leads to a shocking revelation. Cultural difference refuses translation in a Copenhagen police station and a Tunisian immigrant in Italy is forced to make a choice between his new life and the family he left behind. Finally, 1980s Miami detective and martial artist Kung Fury makes the ultimate journey though time to defeat Adolf Hitler - aka Kung Führer!
