GSFF 2017 Symposium: Immersive Filmmaking

Increasing numbers of narrative filmmakers and moving image artists have begun to explore the potential of VR and 360° filmmaking, finding ways to structure narratives and create experiences that incorporate the unique sense of agency that VR affords the viewer/participant. In collaboration with the Creative Media Academy at the University of the West of Scotland, GSFF presents a symposium exploring the challenges of VR storytelling, interactivity and the psychology of immersion. This free event is open to anyone with an interest in the potential of recent technological advances to tell stories in new immersive ways.
