O Street is a multidisciplinary graphic design studio based in Glasgow and London. A socially and politically engaged studio, their design practice came of age alongside DIY and underground aesthetics.
At Glasgow Zine Fest, the O Street fam will host a design-education-in-a-day workshop for zine makers. They will walk through the history and anatomy of typography and how to make type choices, then practice layout and visual pacing with grid systems, and finally end with the production of a finished, well considered zine.
O Street will provide some DIY and editorial supplies, but participants are encouraged to bring along printed matter related to a topic they’re passionate about.
