Ian Giles with Rachel Adams and Tessa Lynch Object Theatre

Creative Lab artist-in-residence Ian Giles has selected video works and archive footage in which objects take centre stage.These films illustrate how we engage with objects and artefacts, and how moving image can bring them to life. The works explore how objects become both an extension of the self and are a key to unlocking our innermost thoughts; they are the silent protagonists who play a major role in defining who we are. Ian has also invited Glasgow based artists Rachel Adams and Tessa Lynch to create interventions in this special screening; together they will explore the space between sculpture and moving image.
