Loop Theatre Moving Memories – open development workshops

Loop Theatre is an integrated physical theatre company dedicated to creating inclusive theatre that inspires, brings joy, and challenges assumptions about disability. These workshops are an opportunity to join us in developing and rehearsing our new piece, Moving Memories, which explores the embodied memories of working lives of the elderly. Our aim is to celebrate the various contributions made by elderly people living in Glasgow over the course of their lives, by turning their memories and stories of work into a movement-based performance. These workshops follow an initial research phase and will focus on shaping the material we have collected into a piece to be shared publicly. Workshop participants are invited to take part in as many of the workshops as they choose, and to take part in a public sharing of the work at the end of the block (optional).
