MAP Reading Group Gravity & Grace Screening

MAP will screen Chris Kraus' Gravity & Grace, 1996, as part of the reading group, Sick Sick Sick: The Books of Ornery Women. Produced just one year earlier than her noted confessional novel I Love Dick (discussed by the reading group on the same evening at 6.30pm), Gravity & Grace is closely aligned to her early writing. In the film she cameos as a New Museum curator: '...the sublime has always been on the side of shit [but] frankly, your work just isn’t shitty enough...'. The film is free to both reading group members and non-members.
