Led by Glasgow artist Allison Gibbs, this information day, filming session and workshop will show you how to develop 16mm or 8mm film in a Lomo processing tank in your own home or darkroom, as well as providing information on how to film and make prints.
For the first half of the session, participants will be invited to shoot a short film together, and can receive advice on filming conditions and equipment. Participants will then learn how to load and develop a black and white 16mm negative film and be given information on chemicals, how to develop film at home and have questions answered about the process of 16mm filmmaking in general.
