A practical and informative session for anyone delivering arts projects in participant focussed settings. Explore strategies for self-care and existing safeguarding models, designed to protect practitioner wellbeing. Discuss processes for staying safe and well whilst generating, gathering and sharing stories or artworks with and for client groups. An opportunity for peer support and knowledge exchange, with access to resources that encourage best practice and advocate for the positive mental health and wellbeing of storytellers and other arts workers.

Facilitated by Colin White (Community Arts Practitioner) who is currently engaged as the Young People’s Storyteller at The Village Storytelling Centre.

If you hold a full festival pass, you may attend this workshop without additional charge, but you YOU MUST book a ticket as places are extremely limited. This workshop is not included in the digital pass, please book separately.
