Franz Rogowski and Adele Exarchopoulos in Passages

The Cineskinny Film Club is back, and we're teaming up with MUBI once again for a free screening of one of Autumn's most anticipated films – Ira Sachs' Passages.

Ira Sachs is best known for his wonderful New York movies like his tender romance Love is Strange and the delicate coming-of-age gem Little Men, but he’s crossed the pond for this remarkable Paris-set drama centred on three of Europe's finest young acting talents.

German actor Franz Rogowski plays Tomas, a self-centred film director. He's happily married to Martin (Ben Whishaw), a sweet-natured artist, but decides he wants more. At the wrap party for his latest film, Tomas meets Agathe, played by Blue is the Warmest Colour star Adèle Exarchopoulos, and is instantly smitten. They spend the night together, but this moment of infidelity soon morphs into a passionate affair. As is the case with many cinematic ménage à trois, Tomas's dalliances don’t run smoothly.

Passages is a deft character study which went down a storm at Sundance and Berlin film festivals, and now you can catch it for free with The Skinny and MUBI.
