Please note this event was changed from the regular Monday slot to Tuesday 29 April as a mark of respect to the much-loved writer, director and performer Adrian Howells, who passed away last month.
There is to be a celebration of Adrian's life at the Glasgow University Chapel on Monday 28 April at 6pm. Please join us on Tuesday in Intermedia Gallery in the company of our guest, Stuart Hepburn.
Stage to Page is a voluntary collective of writers, directors and actors who meet monthly to conduct short public workshops of scenes from brand new plays. This lively exploration of new writing is an opportunity for writers to be actively involved in an exciting, short workshop process, hear their work being read and get feedback from directors, actors and audiences.
Find out about what our submission guidelines are, or come along on the night to join in or just observe the process from page to stage!
This event will take place in Intermedia Gallery, on the 2nd floor of CCA. Usually, events are held in the Tom McGrath Writers’ Room, named after Playwrights’ Studio Scotland’s founding playwright, Tom McGrath. Tom was also the first Artistic Director of the Third Eye Centre, which is known today as the CCA. This is an additional working space with desks to let to writers, which includes access to the Plays’ Library, wireless internet and printing facilities. To make an enquiry about a desk, please contact emma@playwrightsstudio.co.uk
