Present Futures Mark Bleakley | Schema: Chapter III - UR – Prototyping

Schema is an ongoing performance research project that brings together a collection of text, image, film and movement to explore particular experiences, which extend, displace or reconfigure our bodies’ perception or experience of its Self. Source material for this research project includes the live performances of James Brown, the choreopolitics of protest and assembly, the cinematography of R.W. Fassbinder and for this event; the concepts and live production of Jeff Mills music (of UR/ Underground Resistance, Detroit).
