Scottish Ensemble SE Sessions

Scottish Ensemble set up camp at Saramago, the CCA’s cosy downstairs bar, for a handful of short performances on Mon 8 Dec.

This is a chance to see individual players from the UK’s only professional string orchestra in a relaxed setting, up close, playing some of their favourite short pieces. Showcasing composers from the likes of Bach to Steve Reich to Alex Smoke, there’ll be a distinctly 20th century focus.

The music starts at 8.30pm and lasts around an hour, but we recommend arriving early to ensure space at a table. Or, even better, book one in advance and enjoy some delicious Mediterranean-inspired food with your music.
