Scottish Queer International Film Festival Tomboy + shorts
Fri 12 September 2014

Tomboy
The brand new Scottish Queer International Film Festival presents its inaugural event, a screening of French drama Tomboy. Director Céline Sciamma’s second feature blends astute naturalism with striking symbolism and explores gender fluidity in ten-year-old Laure/Mikäel over one summer in a Paris suburb. An eclectic selection of shorts and an introduction from the SQIFF team will accompany the film.
This event is taking place as part of Scalarama, a Celebration of Cinema that takes place every September! See www.scalarama.com for more information.
SQIFF would like to thank Peccadillo Pictures and Fyne Ales, who are kindly providing drinks for after the screening.
