Scottish Screenwriters

Scottish Screenwriters was founded in 2005 and now has over 600 online members and contacts worldwide. Everyone is welcome from the novice to the professional.

Meetings are on the second Monday of each month. The first half of the meeting often consists of a short talk and Q&A from an industry guest. These talks are announced in advance on the group's website and will also be announced on Facebook. The main event of each meeting is the workshopping of members' scripts in order to make them the best they can be in order to make a finished quality film. Our aim is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for screenwriters at all levels of experience. Many scripts workshopped here have then been made into short and feature films.
