Scottish Writers' Centre Have Yourself a Literary Christmas

It’s that time of year again and we’re rocking the SWC Christmas Party with live music and readings from our Members and guest Host, writer and musician Linda Jackson. Please join us and bring along something to read, perform, or slam and share the season’s festivities. It’s going to be an evening to remember! Join us for a taste of Scotland’s new and emerging writers and the best of new literature in action. This is not an evening to miss!

Linda Jackson is a writer, a teacher, and a world class musician, with two novels, a variety of poems and short stories published in anthologies. Jackson is a catalyst for others to think, write, and sing. Her music has influenced her writing creating a complex relationship between her stories/poetry and her song lyrics and music. Working across the two mediums has provided cross-fertilisation and inspiration for both her writing and her music.

We’re currently seeking submissions from eight new and emerging writers to read their work. Please send submissions to info@scottishwriterscentre.org.uk with ‘Literary Christmas’ as a subject line. An SWC member of staff will contact you to set up your time slot.
