Scottish Writers' Centre How to Get Published

Tue 24 October 2017

Calling all writers - are you ready to get published? The Scottish Writers’ Centre in Partnership with Red Squirrel Press are hosting a publishing panel of literary experts in response to writers who want to publish a book or learn about how to make it into print. The panel, a group of literary experts will answer questions and provide a behind-the-scenes breakdown of the publishing sector.

All writers at some point in their lives ask themselves the question, “how do I get my work published?” The Scottish Writers’ Centre are giving you the chance to get answers to this question from a group of industry professionals. The panel will be able to answer your questions not only from a professional stand point, but also as writers themselves. Hosted by SWC Director, Andrew Smith, our panel includes Sheila Wakefield (poet, editor, and publisher), Colin Will (poet and publisher), Gerry Cambridge (poet, essayist, typesetter and editor), Sheila Templeton, (poet).

In connection to this event, the Scottish Writers’ Centre and Red Squirrel Press will also be giving you the chance to get your work published! More details will be released through our website.
