Acclaimed poet and author Bashabi Fraser shares her interest in exploring the historic links between Scotland and India and reads from some of her uniquely cross-cultural work, reflecting on her life and the art of writing.
As well as being a poet, children’s writer, editor and translator, Bashabi is a lecturer in English and Creative Writing at Edinburgh Napier University. Her books include: Edinburgh: an Intimate City (2000), Tartan and Turban (2004), A Meeting of Two Minds: Geddes Tagore Letters (2008), From the Ganges to the Tay (2009) and Ragas and Reels (2012).
