An evening of recitals of poetry and short stories in English, Gaelic and Scots, from Scottish Writers' Centre members. Reading one’s own work is a vital experience for writers as a means to gain feedback and develop their own voice. Everyone is welcome, members and non-members alike, so come along and hear new literature in action.
Scottish Writers’ Centre aims to be a Scotland-wide resource, to bring writers together, and spread information about our vibrant literary culture. SWC is run solely by volunteers - therefore ‘By Writers, For Writers’ - and aims to to provide a space where writers can meet and share ideas and experiences about the craft of writing and learn from those further advanced.
