Scottish Writers' Centre SWC Spring Speakeasy
Tue 28 April 2015
An evening of recitals of poetry and short stories in English, Gaelic and Scots, from SWC members. Reading one’s own work is a vital experience for writers as a means to gain feedback and develop their own voice. Everyone is welcome, members and non-members alike, so come along and hear new literature in action.
The Scottish Writers’ Centre aims to be a Scotland-wide resource, to bring writers together, and spread information about our vibrant literary culture. The SWC is run solely by volunteers, therefore ‘By Writers, For Writers’ and aims to to provide a space where writers can meet and share ideas and experiences about the craft of writing and learn from those further advanced.
