Shona Mackay Creating Intimacy

"Creating Intimacy" is a new immersive work by composer Shona Mackay which combines one-to-one performance, visuals and a string quartet soundtrack recorded by the Brodick Quartet.

From a place of open curiosity, "Creating Intimacy" considers the intimacies and vulnerabilities involved when the composer places herself at the heart of the work in an attempt to engage more deeply with her listeners.
