Tue 23 January 2018

Al Taglio pizza

Imagine yourself as a culinary detective, while relaxing with good food, following the clues of ingredients that arrived on our shores through the ancient trade routes and discover how they transformed the way we eat today.

Have you ever wondered how our favourite ingredients arrived on our plate? Can you imagine what flavours the merchants brought to the Old World which changed our perception of eating? What stories surround these events?

Come along to this inspiring night of fun and flavour with Slow Food Youth Network Scotland and immerse yourself in the delicious food prepared for you with genuine, quality and seasonal produce to better imagine the evolution of European cuisine. You won’t look at food the same way again after unlocking the secrets hidden in the stories of spices, crops and more.

The event is hosted by one of Glasgow’s most authentic, celebrated, family-run Italian restaurants.
