Sow, Reap and Slowly Savour Screening launch and conversation

Sow, Reap and Slowly Savour
Join us at CCA for a screening, drinks and conversation with writer, artist and activist Raman Mundair around No Borders to launch the filmed documentation of their installation Sow Reap and Slowly Savour.
Sow, Reap and Slowly Savour began as a workshop process led by Raman with women of colour and women with a lived experience of the immigration and asylum system to make a place setting for someone - living, past or mythical - where the patterns, text and design were influenced and inspired by seeds, spices, culture, women's mythology and plants from Asia, Africa, the Caribbean and the Arab world. The workshop acted as the basis for a sound based installation of recorded stories and memories related to the mythology of the women participating in the workshop.
Sow Reap and Slowly Savour was installed at CCA as part of Refugee Festival Scotland.
