Celebrate spring and get sowing with Glasgow Seed Library!

Explore and borrow exciting, unusual and adapted varieties of vegetable, herb and flower seeds. Chat to seed librarians Hamshya, Louise and Rowan about your growing plans.

Take home a Seed Starter Pack if you'd like to give seed-saving a go for the first time. Start off some seedlings using a plastic-free soil blocking technique, and try some microbial inoculants to give your seeds the best start in life!

Jenny from Glasgow Food Policy Partnership will share their new Full of Beans Campaign, which aims to get more beans onto Glasgow’s plates. And there will be loads of cool bean varieties for you to grow, eat and save!

Seedy Socials are a great opportunity to meet other local growers and aspiring seed savers.

Everyone is welcome! We’ll have a seedy scavenger hunt to keep wee ones occupied, and volunteers from The Hidden Gardens will offer teas and sweet treats, raising funds for garden activities.
