In a follow-up to his film Purple Skies, activist Sridhar Rangayan’s documentary Breaking Free delves into the lives of LGBT people affected by India’s colonialist law Section 377. A personal journey recounting painful realities alongside offering hope in the shape of queer communities in India fighting for justice.
Screening with short film FU377 directed by Neelu Bhuman and in partnership with Document, Glasgow’s International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival.
