Presented at SQIFF by Arika. Fred Barney Taylor’s documentary offers a portrait of Samuel R. Delany, black gay man, radical, and revered author of science fiction novels. He recounts his Harlem childhood, experiences with psychotherapy, and promiscuous adventures in the infamous Everard Baths and other public-sex venues, interspered with absorbing footage of the writer’s native New York.


Samuel R. Delany will be present at and taking part in Arika’s Episode 9: Other Worlds Already Exist, 16th-19th November at Tramway, Glasgow. More info at www.arika.org.uk.
