Stefan Tulepo Photosynthesis Workshop

This series of workshops is an invitation to explore Garnethill through photography, with Stéfan Tulépo, an artist based in Glasgow. It will be structured around the question; how do we explore a landscape by the traces, motifs, stains, parasites, the details and their repetition?

For the first session at The Project Cafe (27th November), participants are invited to bring 10 photographs they took themselves. Here Stefan will introduce the workshop and we can share our photographs. We will choose some directions and make collections based on topic and subject. This will then feed into the second part of the workshop, which will take the form of a photo safari around Garnethill to take more pictures with a focus on our chosen topics. It's useful to have something to focus on in order to bring out the unexpected; the surprise; the serendipity. Please note: you don't need to be a photographer as such, just interested in collecting and sharing images. However, please bring your own camera, it doesn't matter what form it takes - it could simply be a smart phone.

This second session will be a meeting at the CCA to review the harvest, assemble the collection and make a small book together. We have space for 15 people.
