Join us for the launch of Marguerite Schinkel and Morag Kewell's graphic novel, A Life in Pieces, which follows the story of ‘Alison’ as she experiences a number of traumatic events and is repeatedly imprisoned for drug and alcohol related offences.


Marguerite, who is a lecturer in Sociology based at the Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research at the University of Glasgow, will be joined by fellow collaborator and illustrator Morag Kewell who will exhibit examples of her artwork and discuss the process of telling 'Alison's' story through graphic art form.


Running Order:


7-7.30pm - Drinks on arrival


7.30pm - Welcome from Marguerite Schinkel and short discussion with Morag Kewell followed by Q&A


Performance by Louis Abbott, Vox Liminis


8-9pm - Open exhibition


Wine and snacks will be served


Copies of the graphic novel will also be available to purchase for £3.
