Scottish Writers' Centre In Process Masterclass with Louise Welsh

Glasgow-based Louise Welsh is an award-winning author of six novels. She has also produced many short stories and articles and written for radio and the stage including a libretto for opera. Louise was writer in residence for The University of Glasgow and the Glasgow School of Art (2010-2012), and she co-founded The Empire Cafe, an exploration of Scotland’s relationship with the North Atlantic slave trade, which ran as part of the Cultural Programme for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014.
