SWOU: What do sex workers want? Short movies

For International Sex Workers' Day, Sex Worker Open University is inviting to a projection of three short movies exploring the diverse realities of sex workers around the world, followed by a Q&A wth sex workers and allies.


The programme includes:


Soy negra, soy marica, soy puta (I'm black, I'm queer, I'm a whore) - a short documentary that follows Diana Navarro, a sex worker and lawyer who is fighting for the rights of trans people and sex workers in Colombia.


Becky's Journey tells the story of Becky, a 26 year old Nigerian woman who has made two attempts to go to Europe to sell sex in the hopes of changing her life.


What do sex workers want? Sex worker and activist Toni Mac take the stage in East London to spell out the demand of the sex workers' rights movement.
