Cale Tyson
The Fallen Angels Club is delighted be giving both Cale & Erin their Glasgow debut’s in November, should make for a special night.
Texas born, Nashville based Cale Tyson released his debut full-length album through UK based Clubhouse Records in April.
‘Careless Soul’ is the follow up to Tyson’s 2015 debut ‘Introducing Cale Tyson’ and was recorded in Muscle Shoals, AL at the legendary Fame Studios. Drawing from the vast musical history that drips from the walls of the famed studios Careless Soul is unapologetically a true no holds barred country soul record, recorded in the heart of soul music country and featuring one of the key figures on the scene Dave Hood.
The album contains 11 self-penned tracks that include classic themes from love found to love lost, to ‘who am I?’ and ‘what am I doing here?’ Produced by Michael Rinne, who currently plays bass with Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell, the album features a vase array of Nashville’s finest musicians – Jeremy Fetzer (Steelism, Andrew Combs) played lead guitar, Pete Lindberg played rhythm guitar, Brett Resnick played pedal steel, Skylar Wilson (Caitlin Rose) played keys, David Hood (from Fame house band The Swampers) played bass, Jon Radford (Steelism, Lilly Hiatt) played drums, and Jordan Lehning composed all the strings and horns arrangements.
Tyson was recently in the UK performing at the inaugural Americana Music Association UK Awards where he was nominated for ‘Best International Album’ along side Jason Isbell, Gretchen Peters and Kacey Musgraves.
Erin Rae will release her debut album, “Soon Enough” on Clubhouse Records.
A beautifully realized mix of Nashvillian cool and Laurel Canyon sensibilities ‘Soon Enough’ marks the arrival of one of Music City’s brightest young stars. The UK release will be followed by a debut UK tour later in the year. At once charming, this is an album that will soundtrack those lazy days of summer and will no doubt feature on many end of year lists.
