The Fallen Angels Club Madison Violet

Award-winning Canadian roots duo, Madison Violet are set to release their latest album – and it will feature when they make a welcome return to the CCA in Glasgow in May.

The acoustic “The Knight Sessions” release will enhance their reputation for top quality musicianship, heartfelt tunes plus rich, warming harmony vocals, which they transfer seamlessly to live settings.

Brenley MacEachern and Lisa MacIsaac produce distinctive acoustic folk pop that has been described as a cross between rootsy Gillian Welch, gritty Steve Earle and the bluegrass of Alison Krauss.

They have been performing together for 18 years now and each of their previous dates in Scotland has produced glowing reviews from fans and critics alike because of the way they bring their passionate, eclectic musical tastes to life every time they step on stage.
