The Masters Solo Drumming Championship

The Masters Solo Drumming Championship is set to launch in 2026, bringing together an exceptional field of leading pipe band snare drummers for a full day of top-level solo competition. 🥁

Taking place on Saturday, 31 January at the Centre for Contemporary Arts in Glasgow the event promises an elite line-up, a world-class adjudication panel, and an exciting addition to the competitive solo drumming scene.

This year’s invited competitors include some of the most decorated and respected players in the art form, all of which will be announced over the coming weeks. These eight performers will compete across a new format featuring a Double MSR and a Medley contest.
