The Women's Unit Closing Event

Join us for the closing event as The Women's Unit come to the end a three week presence in the building, where meetings were held and women made new work in situ.

The show features a reconfigured hang of existing work to accommodate new pieces. An aspect of being at CCA was the opportunity to reach more women and some of their work is featured here, including a batch of paintings that were almost binned and the work of a friend from thirty years ago. Following the show The Women’s Unit will return to Castlemilk.
