The Woom Room is a curated art shop now located in the CCA, created to showcase the talent, diversity and vibrant creativity of artists working across Scotland. Our shop brings together a wide range of Scottish makers and visual artists, offering prints, small artworks, objects and pieces that reflect the many voices, identities and perspectives shaping Scotland.

For artists, The Woom Room provides a supportive space to share their work with new audiences and be part of a curated selection that highlights creativity, experimentation and lived experience. Our goal is to uplift Scottish artists by offering visibility, fair opportunities and a platform that honours the value of their practice.

For the wider community, the shop creates an easy and positive entry point into the world of Scottish art. Visitors can browse, learn, connect and engage with work that explores identity, mental health, queerness, heritage, joy, imagination and everyday life. Every item in the shop is chosen with care.

We aim to break down barriers between groups by interacting in a variety of different ways including: regular exhibitions, events, collaborations, performances, workshops and even shop visits that would open up a dialogue with Woom Room artists themselves.
We pride ourselves on packaging our prints with plant cellulose sleeves and selling upcycled clothing. Sustainability is at the core of our decisions on the products we produce and try as much as we can to make sure our practices minimise any damage to our gorgeous planet.
