Gwenan Davies: Tôn Gron

Tôn Gron is an exhibition of new paintings by Gwenan Davies that centres around the idea of ‘in-between’ time, of the semiotics of performing leisure. The work is developed through personal diaries recording time and thoughts, becoming a transcript of the every day.

To accompany the show there will be a booklet developed in collaboration with designer and book-maker Samantha Whetton. It contains writings and drawing, using the format of a diary or journal to write about cafes and about life.

Gwenan Davies is a Glasgow-based artist working with painting, drawing, writing and curating.
