TalkSeePhotography October is delighted to present the artist Mads Holm, who will discuss his work and participation in a group exhibit in collaboration with KNIT (a new artist run initiative dedicated to photography). Holm’s work is concerned with contemporary society and his use of photography draws on note taking. Fragmented, explicit and random, the work comes across as a stark commentary on political formations in society.
Mads Holm (1990) born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark. Mads first studied photography at Fatamorgana, the Danish School of Art Photography, in Copenhagen in 2009. The following year he moved to New York to study photojournalism and documentary photography for one year at the International Center of Photography. Most recently he received a BA(Hons) degree in Fine Art Photography from the Glasgow School of Art.
